Crowds from Rd 13

Looking at the weather today it was a masterstroke for Port to have their game today and it will easily be the best crowd of the weekend.
At Prospect yesterday we couldn't believe how small the crowd was but put it down to the weather, the fact it was on TV and the fact that the Snouts are the only Glenelg supporters that travel (3000 Bays fans last North game, about 30 yesterday!)
We couldn't remember the last time there was such a small crowd.

BUT to my horror when I looked in the paper today I saw we had the largest crowd of the day, the 2 games with no TV coverage had even less!
Are people that influenced by the weather?
Do we have that many "fair-weather" supporters in the SANFL?

the crowd at Elizabeth was that small yesterday, when West kicked a goal, it sounded like a group of nudists sitting down on cold concrete!

was a small crowd on view at Arctic Park sat'dee. Not sure of the numbers in the vehicles. Just know for once there were more Panther supporters at the game than their opponents.

How do I know? I counted them. At 3/4 time there were 23 people at the rope by the Sturt huddle and 2 of them were holding the rope.

Oh, and you can't blame Eagles supporters for dragging the attendance down, too.
