Round 23 might see Glenelg and Central fighting for top after the reserves decide 5th spot the way things are turning out.

Yeah, six on the trot for Central's there, longest in any grade currently. Next three games against the current top three.

Hey Scott, last week you published the Stanley H Lewis table. Any chance of that again?

Interesting trend to have - least 2nd quarters won by any team but the most third quarters won by any team.

I always thought home ground advantage meant nothing but home ground advantage seems to be back in vogue this year. Only Port have a better record away, just. Top 4 just losing 1 at home.

I continue to be amazed that Port has the lowest average losing margin despite being 8th.
A few more goals scored FOR next season and we'll be right up there.

Looking at the stats is seems that slow starts are costing your boys. When someone posted the Maggies lineup earlier this season it looked like a pretty good line up, certainly better than the ladder position suggests.

From the games I've seen (with the exception of the absolute debacle at Propsect  ), it's been a combination of slow starts and 5-10 minute lapses in concentration/discipline that has really cost us this season.

We've also won 12 of 17 last quarters which is pleasing, but on the flip side, many of those have been too little too late and the fizz had already gone out of the game.

On the Port lineup, we've had a huge number of debutants in 2010 and the vast majority have played fewer than 50 games. If we keep the majority of the current squad together, Port could again be a force in 2012-2013. (if we're still around) :(
