I've been privy to Glenelg's opening round fixture and the number of Friday/Saturday and Sunday games for a few weeks now, though the opponents and other details haven't been revealed.

Interesting that the SANFL are only about 2 months behind the AFL when it comes to announcing the following season's fixtures...though the SANFL don't have the TV stations to deal with and other complex negotiations...

The clubs all had their scan over the draft fixture not so long ago, and I think the finalisations are being made as we speak...I anticipate the draw should be released within a week...

PS - cricket is gerat...as is footy...I think there's room for both on an equal keel in TB's life.

The Eagles lodged for Centrals to play their BYES in the finals series...not sure if this one was approved...

I would say Centrals first 2 home games possibly first 3 would be night games.

Sorry but nothing compares to the northern suburbs. I don't set foot near the place and wouldn't know my way around anywhere north of the start of Main North Rd, and that's a good thing and something I am proud of!

Why? You can be proud of as many things as you like. I know it's a minor thing but it's true, I detest that area.

Centrals have the bye in the first round. They play Glenelg at the Ponderossa.
