The Magpies have had a disappointing last 2 weeks but it doesn't get any easier this week when they host the in form West Adelaide. The Bloods have good depth this year and don't rely on their AFL listed players. The Magpies need a huge game from John Butcher to be a chance, I can't see the Magpies upsetting their more fancied rivals though.
My tip: West 28 points

I don't think Butcher will find the going to easy this week so i don't think Port would be wanting him to win the game for them. Their midfield would want to be at their best to give them a shot at beating a in form westies.

A massive danger game for us. Need to be switched on from minute 1.
Bloods by no more than 3 goals.

Its time Butcher took control of a game, this bloke has been talked up as a gun, if he's any good he should be dominating SANFL Footy at present but he's not, why is it so?

Won't be doing it this week IMO. Ferg or Sylvester on him means he won't see the ball. If he dominates this game he should be playing in the AFL the week after

If Port are going to be any show, it's their legs that are going to need to hold up. They're second last for goals scored in time on while West lead the competition quite comfortably....

Terrible conditions predicted for this sunday will keep the score from being a blow out.
West 30pts

There is something wrong if Port can't win, at Alberton, with this side.

Some very good 'ins' there.
Perhaps Port's strongest side this year?
