Trent Goodrem had a massive 15 tackles - by far the highest of any player in one game this season. Only one player has had 10 or more and that was James Ezard v Centrals in Round 2 where he had 10.

Just a magnificent win. To have 17 fit players before 1/2 time and keep pulling the margin out even after that and win so comfortably gives the side something you just can't buy.

Wasn't able to get to the game sadly, but listened on the radio and followed here. Sounded like Pumpa was absolutely dominant, Havelberg everpresent up forward and all the mids must have worked their backsides off. Losing 3 prime movers and not being able to get a rest is supposed to be a disadvantage no team can withstand. Thomas, Jenner, Goodrem, Sansbury, Habel, C. Gowans, Spurr, Schiller all seemed to be everywhere in the second half.

Also sounds like Matt Westhoff continued his good contribution. Not sure if he had great stats but I remember 2 goals he set up with knocks. He's done that a few times this year. Doesn't get a stat for it, but he is proving a headache matchup for opposition side. Put a small on him, he'll mark it. Put a tall on him he'll turn them around and use his skills on the ground. Justin seems to be stepping up in the AFL this year, hopefully Matt does something similar in the SANFL and earns a crack higher up.

Just got home. That was brilliant. Very proud of the doggies effort today. Awesome pressure, applied.
Chad pulled up well after a good ressies game also.

Fantastic win. Only 17 fit men for two and a half quarters. Really was expecting more fight from Glenelg after half time. They should have run us off our feet. Great effort by Centrals. Their tackling today was outstanding.

Goal of the day was James Gowans on one leg after copping a fair bit of 'support' from the Glenelg supporters. Guess who got the last laugh.

Pumpa is looking better with every game. One of those days when you can say all played well.

Well done to Chad on a successful come back in the reserves. Looked good.

we were woeful, terrrible, crap and whatever other shitty name you want to use and looked disinterested but that would we detrimental to the dogs, they made us look 3rd rate, even sutherland looked good, a lot of soul searching to be done down at brighton road, that is the most insipid minor round display i have seen since mickan took charge (i wasnt at anzac day '09)

Seen alot of footy in my time but that would have to be one of the gutsiest (if thats a word) efforts I have witnessed. Not only did the dogs have to overcome adversary, that taught Glenelg a football lesson.

Seriously though, Is Mickan now under pressure for his job? How long is he contracted for?

That would have to go down as one of the clubs greatest wins.....BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!!!
With all the injuries we have to give a huge pat on the back to all concerned ...coaching staff, trainers and most of all
THE PLAYERS.

I stand and applaud you all....

Totally agree that this was one of the gutsiest wins for the Doggies. Even the commentators on the radio had all but written them off at half time, saying they would not be able to sustain a winning effort with no one left on the bench.
I reckon Justin Hardy is getting better with each game and Pumpa is proving to be a real rucking revelation.
Interesting to see the outcome of our injuries and who can step up to replace them next week.
Very proud supporter, but disappointed in a lack lustre contest from the Bays.

17 Men and to win like that. Sutherland rucked for 3 whole quarters. Milne was amazing playing on a wing in the final quarter.

Was this a bigger effort than the 50 goal game.

Where to for the Bays! 5 extra players on their home deck and get belted mmmmmmmmmmm, questions need to be asked.

ps. havent seen a funnier moment at SANFL football in the last 15 years than the Snouts Louts giving Gowans rubbish about being soft etc etc..................................... only for him to kick a goal a minute later 100 meters by himself.
