Round 6 - Glenelg v North Adel @ Glenelg - 2.10pm Sat 7/5/11

Both clubs have had disappointing seasons so far, and will be wanting to win this week to turn their seasons around.

The Bays have the home ground advantage, North have the extra days break, and its quite difficult to see where either side will gain an advantage. I think the Roosters can win based on a few more options up forward, but I don't select them with much confidence.

My tip: North by 9 points.

Think the Bays will get up with home ground advantage being a factor, whichever side loses is clearly going to have an interesting time selling it to their supporters.

North - no chance! Again we will play another out of form team back into form and confidence. Bays will win comfortably! Anywhere from 6 to 10 goals.

Clunk! The sound of the wooden spoon hitting the front door at Prospect Oval as it gets thrown out of the van after it's journey from Noarlunga.

And to think I will be going to the game with the last poster. At least he will be buying me beers all day ;). I reckon North are closer to a win than the Bays. But who could tip any side with any confidence.

Need to drink copious amounts of alcohol to get through a North games these days! At least I can get 'loaded" this week and stagger home - TSG might have to carry me though!

Ok I guess however he has to take a fair portion of the blame re the recruiting to date however had they all turned out to be world beaters then we would be signing his praises. However he still is learing about match up's etc and that is one area he needs to improve in IMO but he could help himself by picking 2 ruckman each week.

To go into last Saturday's game with only 1 ruckman regardless of the potential weather outcomes (it was dry for the majority of the league game) and his plan B was to use our biggest defender (Miles) as a "relief" ruckman for Ackland was baffling and frustrating! That didn't help our cause and it is following the Healy plan which didn't work for 2 years flogging Alleway as first or second ruck as well as expecting him to play up fwd when resting!

Might help if the crows star draft pick James Craig could ever get on the park too but we did recruit Hill from Qld to play ruck but IMO Francou just hasn't let him settle and has expected too much from him and lost patience with him so early in the season. IMO Hill looks ok but he needs to be given an extended chance to play League not come on and off the bench for a game then go back to the ressies every second week!

He looked very very angry after Saturday's loss. Saw him outside of the changerooms staring at what looked to be some sort of stat sheet.

Probably a sheet with the easy misses marked on it - all a straight line 30-40 metres out from goal! Would have been a reasonable size sheet!

Mick Redden always smiles! He even was smiling when he was punching the Stringer brothers in the 87 GF! Mind you lots of North people smiled when that happened!

Remember also that Bassett was 1-4 after five games last season and he got Norwood to the Grand Final...
