Maybe Westies should wear a clash jumper. After all, their your lights that are causing the problem. Hasn't been an issue before.

For those who thought West Adelaide should have worn the all red clash jumper, being a night game, Glenelg won't come to the party with an away stip, so the club (West) did ask the SANFL if they could use their heritage jumper which was used from memory last year which has a lot more red in it but the good old SANFL said NO!! so we stuck with our normal strip.
I think it's time for the Tigers to come up with an away strip...luckily it wasn't a wet and muddy ground last night

Well the SANFL are being idiots if true. Still, it's not the AFL, and if the Bays want to wear their jumper, which would be rubber stamped for every game at the start of the season, they are well within their right. You won, sitting top of the ladder, enjoy it.

LOL, why should Glenelg invest in an alternate guernsey because some old gits in the crowd are blind as bats?

Amateur league forces clubs to wear clash strips. So why can't a professional league like the SANFL force clubs.

Why the hell should the HOME side need an alternate strip!!!!! this is the same arguement they have in the AFL, every club should have an alternate strip to wear if the jumpers clash. South wore theirs the week b4 and it looked great, are you to precious down the bay to have one? So when or should i say if glenelg ever get lights then they would have an alternate strip to wear if they played west under lights???

I've been accused of many things but being a Bay supporter is one of the worst. My point is, if West want to play under poor lighting for night games, and West supporters complain about not being able to tell the teams apart, West should wear clash jumpers. DON'T BLAME GLENELG.

opps sleepin giant, my bad about being a bay supporter...that was a very low blow, west in the past have worn their clash jumper against glenelg at glenelg also against south and norwood and both norwood and south have done the same when playing west. do glenelg think they are above everyone else and not need to provide an alternate or maybe thats just using common sense. do they think they are the collingwood of the sanfl.... then again until collingwood won last year over the past 30 years they have similar finals performances dont they!!!

Don't blame us, wouldn't be a problem if you hadn't changed from your stripes in 1980....
