As usual, the benefit of the doubt. Is that the 3rd time he's been up this year?

But he has been suspended both other times for 2 games a piece! Apparently he should have well and truly got the benefit of the doubt the first time but got 2 games??? Just can't work out the Tribunal and their inconsistency but I guess they are part of the SANFL administration and that says it all!

The incident he was reported for on saturday was a joke. No free kick paid, the umpire didnt tell him until 15 minutes after the incident that he had been reported. You see the same type of incident 5-6 times a game, especially when the Gowans bros are playing. Nothing in it.

As said above the first report should have at most and going on by what everyone else gets the first time a reprimand, but he got 2 weeks. Now this was the third time he has been up and plenty of other players on all sorts of different cases/would be cased should have at least got a reprimand but weren't even looked at.

Have to agree with the general consensus - the report was a joke. The umpire watched the incident and didn't even award a free kick. Once he heard the crowd and saw Slade getting up slowly, he decided he had better do something. It looked to me like a 50/50 free kick down the ground at best.
