North's New Away Guernseys

Personally I didn't think much of them, they lacked imagination and the front is pretty ordinary but here's a peek for those that weren't at Richmond today:

Yeah, I have to admit it's an ordinary effort. What's with an "away" jumper when you don't clash with West Adelaide anyway? And it's not much of a departure from the current jumper (red base with white), it would have made more sense if they wore the 1937 (?) jumpers of white with a red "v".

I agree fully, there's a replica of that guernsey in the front foyer of the club and it looks absolutely sensational.

It's better than the one they wore in Darwin.

Can I ask the question why have a jumper that is nearly all red as your away jumper when playing a team with Red in their Jumper ?
I could understand nearly all white or other colours like in the round ball game .

From teh back it looks like you are copying Port
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The away jumper has a lot more white than the normal guernsey.
Weird question.

for a North away gurnsey why not just go for more of a South Freo strip, looks much better than that.

To Me Wedgie its more solid RED thats why I questioned wearing it against Teams that have RED in their jumpers like West and Norwood.
But thats just me I guess

How is the new guernsey is it more solid RED than the normal guernsey??
The normal guernsey is an entire solid red front and back with just a white vee and a white number.
The new guernsey is 50% white on the back and 60% white on the front.
Are you looking at the right pictures???
Doesn't it make sense to wear a guernsey with 30% less red in it against teams with red?

I think so mate, there's no logical explanation for it unless you're blind.
Even a colour blind person can differentiate red from white.

Have a good one WEDGIE but when our teams have away jumpers its a pity we can not use totally different colours like the Eagles yellow jumper or something !!

I liked it and clever thinking by the designer. It has a stand out style that can only assist the vision when running the ball forward.

Innovative and a smart move.

Last time I looked Glenelg had yellow in their guernsey too mate (well that's what their song says).
If the Eagles were smart they would use the colour that truly isn't used by any other club in green.
