We must win the next two games to deserve our spot in the top five, because If we have to rely on beating norwood at coopers which is very unlikely or other results we don't deserve to make the five.

Moved from the Saturday night I believe? If so, good stuff by the Panthers to respect that their surrounding areas would be busy with local club finals on Saturday, and hopefully more turn up on Friday than would have on Saturday.

the draw for south this year has been rather puzzling... playing Centrals,Norwood and the Eagles 3 times; no games for 3 weeks and then 2 games in 6 days....?

B&W should make for a great South schedule next year as you will only get those teams twice. As for the six day break ... that was at your won clubs request to move it from Sat to Fri.

I hope you are right re the draw ,but as you know I've supported the panthers for a long time Phil and unfortunately the sanfl have never been too gracious when it comes to South Adelaide.
Yes I believe the game was changed to a Friday night game to compare against Saturday night fixtures. I for one will really struggle to get there......

It won't help for the fact it is now up against another match (West/Glenelg), whereas Saturday night is free.
The results concerning teams in 3rd, 4th and 5th spots on Saturday make it interesting for us.
Win this week, and spend the last two weeks knowing that we cannot move from 3rd place.

Adding onto that, every other club that has a place in; or a chance for, the 5, will have something to play for - either top spot or 4th or 5th spot.

No reserves game on friday. League starts at 7-40. Any advice from people who have driven into the ground as to what time would need to get there? Plan to have a bbq with a few south & eagles mates..

Eagles seem to struggle with the pace of South Adelaide and a big oval should suit the panthers, however am tipping Eagles to get over the line by 15-24 points in an scrappy uninspiring clash!

That's why I'm not so keen on this one myself - we match up better against the top two clubs than against South.

Good to see Andrew Ainger back in the league side, he has been impressive in the ressies the last few weeks I've seen South.

He needs to really take his opportunity. Don't Look Back In Ainger.
