Forgive him Lord, it's been so hard being down for so long.
Well N78, sometimes it's worth remembering what the cop said to the flasher ......
"Don't go out in public if you can't keep it in !"
;)
P.S. I still hope you're right though.

We've got it all in front of us. We still haven't found a way to topple the Eagles, and we only defeated Central by 1 point on our own ground. I'm reserving my opinions for the finals.

Bloody hell, granted Im a pessimist but Im not even confident we'll make it to the GF yet.

The Dogs are Septermber/October freaks and the already strong Eagles, welcoming back Petrenko and maybe Smith will just get stronger.

Oh, thats Gold smac...

Or, according to one highly evolved Sturt fan at Adelaide Oval on Friday night ( and apologies as I am unable to relay the slur in my typing ) that Port fans "...have got no teeth, are toothless, like baby lambs, yeah, they're just like baby lambs....."

Well, he has not stated what Norwood will win.. so I guess he is right. They may win another game this year! ;)

I am not ready to write off any of the eight teams still in the hunt for the flag this year. A lot of good football still ahead of us!

Much as I love my doggies......beware the Eagles, they have the most to gain from our AFL sides not being in finals.

Throws ups the old question though, have guys in finals that have played most of the year and would bleed for the club or have AFL guys come back and spend more time worrying if they are going to get hurt and putting in a half assed effort.
As much as id love Tex to play for us in finals we have managed to get where we are without him and it would mean a guy who has busted his gut all year misses out.
Have spoken to some AFL listed players before and to be honest they didnt seem that interested in playing finals at SANFL, more worried about getting their bodies right for pre-season

Where they players 'mini drafted' to their respective AFL clubs? No doubt, if you ask someone like Ian Callinan, Tom Jonas, Matty Broadbent etc they are would want to play SANFL finals for the club that gave them their opportiunity at the higher level, unless of course they had a bad injury and had plans for an operation anyway.

Correct BP, the guys who are from their original clubs love it but the "imports" probably couldnt care less about their SANFL club. Some AFL guys have higher priorites though and want to have an injury free pre-season so will opt out
