O'Hara

Postby Jimmy » Fri Oct 28, 2005 1:49 pm

As you all know, reports on FSA note he will be with North next year? what do eags fans think of this and can any of the Dr's Ebin or Fly fill us in?

If it is true, a huge pick up for north and one that would take them close to early favs for the flag (since the dogs have lost some players)

That would be a massive pickup. O'Hara is a decent ruckman and would fit into any side quite well.

Would be an awesome pick up, I was suprised that North have made Daniel Wakelin a DVC for next year as I could only see him playing a role on the bench with a state side ruckman in the side.
Wont count my chickens until they're hatched, the players I talked to last Saturday were coy about the subject.
Parry's no chance though, I heard he's heading back to Port.
I'm unsure where Bandy fits into this but I think if we get O'Hara and perhaps Hedge as well North won't bother contacting Bandy, plus we've got to many bloody Daniel's in the side as it is. Funny as buggery when at the 1st semi at the 3/4 time huddle Jars asked where Daniel was and 4 blokes put their hand s up!

Hmm, the O'Hara story is starting to get a bit of a mention on the Roost, hopefully where there's smoke there's fire. Now for some key defenders.

I reakon Koops will be used as a defender, Wedgie.

A backline including Koops, Roe, Ivens, Coulter and HOPEFULLY Gilham woudl be more than fair... 8)

Koops will be a good defender but I don't think he, Coulter or Ivens are key defenders, great flankers/back pockets. Wouldn't suprise me if Ivens got more run on the ball next year too.

O'Hara wasn't the first choice State ruckman...Daniel Kirk was selected initially to ruck for the State side, but pulled out  due to back injuries caused by Borat...and maybe me.

Well should be a good fit for you guys then. So are you guys still after Bandy or with the addition of O'Hara would you still need him?
