It's hard to pick a winner in this game. Both sides look strong on paper. With all the attention on North's big forwards, Younie has flown under the radar the last couple of weeks so the Eagles defence will need to be at their best. The Eagles must pressure from the midfield to allow McKenzie and Shattock to pick off any rushed kicks. Too many times last week the Eagles were trying to cover two South players, so need to get back to covering their own man and not give North easy passage to the forward lines. All teams look better with the ball than chasing so whoever wins the ball from the middle should win the game. Last time these teams met Lindsay dominated, but with Hudson in the team this time, things should be different and a lot closer in play and on the scoreboard. It doesn't get any bigger in a minor round game than this. The minor premiership and all important week off in the finals awaits the winner. A big crowd should be on hand to witness the game of the season so far.

It should be a good game because there is a lot at stake. Not sure about a "big" crowd though but hopefully some Eagles fans turn up, the Crows play on Sunday so they should be free.

3 big outs to the Crows for the Eagles: Bock, Skipworth and Perrie.

lol not a Perrie fan or is it just better for team balance? Some Eagles fans may say Bock is an out for the Roosters so it might even up in the end!

Way to go Wedgie
a SANFL highlight for myself and my son was a game against North in Jarmans first year I think it was and Skipworth tackled Perry held him by one arm !! There was Perry dragging Skipworth along and finally the ump called holding the ball.
And i agree with Aerie re Bock if the ball is below knee level he is history !!

the crows have named 25, with Bock, Skippy and Perrie on the nemch with Massie Clarke, Torney and Proplyzia, so I can't see Bock, Skippy and Perrie all playing unless some players named in the starting 18 fall out, say Mcleod or Hentchel

It was mentioned on Channel 7 news Sydney dog that Biglands has hamstring problems and he might be in doubt .

Mickyj

Biglands must be ok, otherwise they would of named Maric in the 25, if Biglands misses their is no second ruckman in the 25

My mail is that Hentchel is doubtful

Yeh it's strange that Maric wasn't included in the 25, but I guess Biglands must be alright.

Would that Perry be former North player Devon Perry? Spell check maybe?

Seriously you quoted the text with the correct spelling of Perrie but then proceeded to get it wrong yourself - failed cheating and copying at school perhaps?

Since when was Perrie a full blooded Eagle.
He might have played 1 game in the reserves.

Nice to see S. Hill play his first reserves match this week. Can still play in the 17s.
