May have already been mentioned and may be a bit too early to say yet. But could Mitch Hahn possibly make a comeback to the SANFL and perhaps end up lining up next to a former team mate as he was linked there last year??..

Norwood with Eagleton.
Was very close to joining this year by all reports but was persuaded to have one more year at AFL.
Dont think we will get him, would be handy though

I think we are a chance of getting him. I couldn't imagine the draft hitting us as hard as last year but could be a good replacement for Cam Shenton up forward

Would be a good pick-up I reckon.

I don't think we were chasing him as some rumours were suggesting

I think the Western Bulldogs were or are going to set him up with a player welfare / teaching job so he'll probably stay in Melbourne.
Could join his brother Scott (former West player) in the Barossa League with Gawler Central perhaps?

Mitch Hahn was drafted in 1999 from Northern Eagles in the QAFL.

Cheers, would be a stretch to come SA then?

The money he'd earn for a year or two wouldn't be enough on it's own to make him relocate everything to another state. He's no doubt looking at his next career and that will be his main priority you'd think. Especially when he could earn just as much (or even more) playing country footy.

He wants to play. Just a matter of where. No reason he couldnt come to Adelaide if a club offered him good money and a spot in the fire department.. This could prove a very useful negotiating tool.

Then it could end up like the Yves Sibenaler situation where he wont be able to play throughout the training period for the firies.
I think he will stay over in Melbourne and will play for Williamstown with a development role with the Western Bulldogs.

Given though he has nothing to bring him to the SANFL (no ties to SA or Adelaide, nothing to prove at an SANFL level) the money and job would have to be so lucrative I'm not sure an SANFL club can offer that. Especially when you'd imagine WA clubs and VFL clubs would be just as keen to get him as anyone here would. Would be a nice shot in the arm for the comp, not to mention a serious weapon up forward for a club like Norwood for a couple of years, but I feel it's a remote chance at best.
