Great vision of the supporters cheering the boys off on the tv coverage.
Wishing I was there.

Just how proud do these boys make you feel?? Ten key players out, down to 18 fit men by the beginning of the last quarter, playing two and a half quarters against the breeze and yet they turned on that great performance!
Still a long way to go, but, boy, am I proud of this young team!

One of the most telling stats was that Central had 28 scoring shots to 10 from just before the quarter time siren onwards.

More than just 'another win' I reckon Dutchy, the Dogs were pretty under manned against a near full strength Norwood side, a great win for them in my opinion.

Central have now won 10 in a row against the Legs at Elizabeth.

Gowans was awesome. We looked slow and were second to the contest far too often. Skills were deplorable, too many dropped marks and fumbles. Should be a few guys worried about holding their spot come finals time.
One of the worst performances from Norwood ive seen in years.
Centrals were far too good and we are lucky they missed so many shots.
They have a good problem now of changing their side next week, going to be hard to find someone to drop to bring in these stars.

Those fumbles started in the first quarter too, Jim. It only got worse as the game progressed.
The Legs looked a little nervous about the expectation on them regarding this game.

Agreed, reckon the occasion got to them and everbody had written Centrals off. Think a few guys got way too far ahead of themselves and just thought it would happen

Another pass mark for 'the machine'. Too strong and able to apply enough pressure to put off the opposition.

Go dogs!

I think a couple of Norwood players go missing against Centrals. Centrals are too quick as well and Norwood seem to have too many "clumsy' type players and are just not as skilled as Central.

Doyle doesn't do enough IMO and Dawe is not good if he doesn't mark the ball . I donn't get to see Norwood much but I have seen a reasonable game from Terlich once .

Dogs too quick ,too skillful and too good.

Looked like a great crowd .

It did look as if Norwood did not have enough players willing to make the effort to get the hard ball. They are a brilliant side when it is all flowing their way, but are they susceptible under pressure?
Having said that, I thought that Norwood's tackling in the first quarter was great.. just that it appeared to go missing once things got tough.

Hey Wildcat your post on the other Central v Norwood pre game posts stating " already making making excuses " i was just stating the facts that this year Norwood or the Eagles have a very good opportunity to beat a very DEPLETED Central side so what was your excuse today for Norwoods performance ?????

Perhaps they tanked like Collingwood did last night but I doubt it seeing the minor premiership may well have been on the line

Not sure if that's true, given the recent run of close matches between the two sides.

Disappointing to say the least but hopefully that's the shocker we needed to have before we go into September. Apart from the first we didn't give a yelp and Centrals should be proud of their performance given the injury list they've got.

Hopefully Centrals people will now pop in the cue rack the old cliche about Norwood fans not traveling, on the outer it was nearly all red and blue.

Sutherland is a gigantic numpty, the whole tough guy routine he pulls is truly hilarious.

See you in the finals.

We might not. Play like we did today in the finals and we will be out in straight sets.
Eagles would flog us on todays effort

Nevermind the fact Pumpa keeps knocking your blokes over ;) Makes you wonder about the Norwood tough guys that want to get involved with him.

Thanks for the compliments and great crowd from the Redlegs there today.
