trevor announced his retirement from the GFC today, a champion player & person, thanks for those great 153 games & it's a pity that we couldn't get a premiership for you in your time

Might as well start a general thread as there will be some players retiring over the next few weeks.

Started today with Trevor Cranston announcing straight after the Bays loss that he has hung up the boots.

Well done on a great SANFL career Trev, always an honest performer who gave 110% and one of the better ruckman in this comp over the last 7 or 8 years.

PhilH asked me on air about the bloggers who were joining me on the thread during the Glenelg v South game.

I said to him I was interacting with regular SA Footy posters on the rails and The Sleeping Giant up in Darwin enjoying a few quiet ones ;)

Cranston was a good ruckman no doubt .I agree Champion is over used.
