What are your nominations for goal and mark of the year?

From what I've seen my nominations would be:

Mark of the Year: Tim Inkster against West at Richmond
Goal of the Year: Cicolella on the weekend at Woodville Oval against Norwood with his right foot snap from the scoreboard boundary into the wind and Luke Jarrad earlier in the year at The Parade on his left foot in front of Coopers Hill.

My nominations would be the same, Cicca's goal on Sunday, is maybe better then Aker's goal last year.

Motlop and Motlop.
1) Motlop's mark at Norwood.
2) Motlops goal at Adelaide.

Yes, they were very similar. With the difficulty of the wind, I'd say you're right. Only thing Cica needed to do to match Aker was do it twice in 5 minutes!

Motlop's goal against Sturt the 2nd time at Adelaide Oval is the best goal i've seen this year.

Gilly has taken a few hangers but hard to pick one out, Motlop's mark at the Parade was a beauty though.

Or Coopers goal from the boundary line at Richmond .

Yeah, I thought about that one as well. One thing about Cicolellas' goal is that he went away from goal to evade a couple of Norwood players, then he turned around and snapped the ball from there. I was pretty much behind him, the way the ball came back was like magic. (As was Knights' soccer goal)

Cica kicked one in 2002 against North on the boundary line, facing up field he had a snap shot across his body from there.

Goal: Cicolella v Norwood - Round 20
Mark: Gill I beleive took a beauty earlier in the year. I can't remember what round or who it was against. Very early in the season. Inkster v West was a cracker as well.

Could be wrong, but I think that was Rd 4 against Sturt @ Adelaide, the night he also kicked a bag (9 from memory), for me it would either be that mark or Motlops, and the goal would go to Motlop.

Yes come to think about it I do beleive it was a night match at Adelaide and I can remember he kicked a shit load of goals that night too. As for the goal of the year I still think Cica's was an absolute cracker and will take some beating.
