The Panthers will be keen to make of for their poor showing against the Bloods the week before the State Game bye, while the Redlegs remain the only undefeated side in both the League and Reserves competition. I can't see how the visitors will lose this one.

Can see Souths poor record under lights at home continue.
Would think we should win by 7-8 goals but you never know which version of South will rock up

We don't!!!!
...but its a home game and under lights against the undefeated form side of the comp......tight game for 3 1/4's with Legs coming home to win by 6 goals.
If it was played at the Bay it might be a different story!!!

Hey, go easy, it will be close..................
Not sure how it will pan out after 1/4 time, if we go down by 60 points or more then its season over and bring out the moth balls

At some stage, Norwood are likely to have a shocker and drop a game they are expected to win...
I wouldn't be surprised if it was this one, but that being said, even when they have a bad day, the Legs are still playing good enough footy to get the job done.
Norwood by 4 or 5 goals.

Big Phil, it will be June, it will be cold and freezing in SA not just Noarlunga. No wonder South struggle to get crowds at home when every "media" person continually gives the place a bad weather wrap, which is undeserved! This Friday night will be no colder at Noarlunga than Norwood, Richmond, Eliizabeth etc. Ron Fuller has said at every opportunity he's given that wind is no factor at night as it very rarely windy after 4.30pm.

Sorry mate, it was a throw away line that had no reference to not going to Noarlunga. I do everything I possibly can to promote ALL of the SANFL games and encourage as many supporters as possible to attend. I would suspect that it might be a few degrees cooler down south, being close to the ocean, than what it would be in the city though mate.
I highly doubt there will be people contemplating going but then get on here and read that Big Phil said it will be cold on Friday night and therefore choose not to attent, but I will edit the post accordingly because I can see what you are saying. I, for one, really enjoy going to Noarlunga, regardless of the weather conditions and will be there Friday night.

No need to edit Big Phil, not THAT sensitive, it's just a little annoying that everytime Noarlunga is mentioned the weather comes into the equation (Neil Cross ABC worst offender) which is undeserved and unnecessary given that SAFC are doing everything in their power to entice larger crowds to the ground which offers a variety of excellent spectator facilities.

Bringing the weather up for any venue shows just how soft we've become as a society .. I understand there are probably more options for entertainment these days, but FFS this game has been a winter sport since day dot, and I dare say a high majority of posters on this site would have grown up as 7 year olds wearing raincoats and sitting through 3 hours of pouring rain to watch their team play.
Anyway, I've gone OT there .. Close game either way I reckon this one.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think it is $5.00 per car...

Parking in the ground?
Adjacent the ground?
Two different prices I think.
parking at Colonades - free.
You could always catch a bus or a train, too

According to the BOM right now
Elizabeth is 14.2
Norwood 14.2
Noarlunga 13.4
So yes Noarlunga is infact colder than Elizabeth or Norwood!!!!!!
