1 month would have me upset. If they had issues with the photographer that's their issue and should have been sorted well before May. Can't believe getting a guernsey will take so long. Sounds to me like they're taking advantage of the fact they have no competition.

Our club is always ordinary with their member's packages, and this year was as bad (if not worse) than any .. But this far into the season is an absolute disgrace!!

I know you want to support your club mate, particularly financially and you should be commended for that .. But I wouldn't be taking any higher level membership next season, just in an attempt to get a message across.

Shits me to tears that SANFL clubs play the guilt trip and tug at the heartstrings about how much they can't like without your support, just to pocket the money then not give a rats.

I'd be pissed off, very pissed off! Not so much that I didn't get the photo and geurnsey but more as to how I've been treated and subjected to blatant lies and dishonesty. I'd write a letter or email to a few officials at the club telling them what's happened and that you will not be renewing your membership next year and that they can go get stuffed. I would also add that you're so disgusted with such a poorly run and unprofessional club that you are now going to become a member of the Sturt Football Club.

At least this one isn't going to cost us any transfer fees

I wouldn't of waited more than a month!! Then I would of been on the phone or at the club every day asking.

The issue with the photos were that they were delivered and the club have lost them. Just like they lost the guernsey

Then to add to their deceitfulness and deception Rob Nelson (CEO) said that the photographer was a liar and the photos weren't delivered.

I know the photographer and he is NOT a liar and has 3 witnesses to when he dropped the photos to the club


Do the SANFL offer memberships to get into local games only not AFL games?

I've not a doubt in the world, but for the club to use it as an excuse is crazy. If I had customers waiting for supply and my supplier ws giving me trouble, I'd get that sorted quick smart or find another. It's up to the company(club) to look after their customer (member). They wouldn't cop any excuses from you regarding your payment. Sadly, you haven't got anything to use as leverage. Customers usually just go to another business. I don't see you sounding out the dogs or another league club (but feel free to prove me wrong ).

Good luck getting through to them, but honestly it sounds like you might get it in time for Mad Monday. But perhaps just give them an insistent call every day. I've been on both sides of that daily phone call and it sucks to have no answer for someone who is right, funny how things suddenly get found too.

Depends on why you purchased the package.

For the guernsey and photo, or to help the club.

Sure, they should have delivered, but is it really that bad?

Did all Clubs have trouble getting hold of the information to redeem AFL Tickets this year? We received it two weeks ago in post. Glenelg have really taken looking after your members to a new low this year.

It' been to hard to reply to emails asking about the above. After 3 emails from 3 different people and no reply a phone call to the club was met with the SANFL has not passed that info on yet I had seen said informattion on another forum. Lies just don't cut it in the business world yet what action can we take to get improvements when it looks like the CEO couldn't lay straight in bed.

Maybe the SANFL should start selling season tickets allowing you to go to a game a round. I know 4 people that would take this option up because the level of service and appreciation at Glenelg is low.

I had to send a couple of emails and a phone call to get the details for accessing the AFL games but it wasn't any real trouble, would be good if it was just sent out with the membership package though. I think Sturt do a pretty good job with their membership packages, I haven't heard of anyone who has a problem. They did have a hiccup a few years ago when they used a new distributor. I think.
As a side issue, the value for money that a season ticket to all Sturt games provides is excellent when you also add in the two members double passes to 1 Port and 1 Adelaide game. Me not being a member of either or a SANFL FP member, one of these tickets would normally cost $50 as a Members Guest Pass, total value if you redeem both games is $200.

The turnaround for a doggies membership package is about 1 week.

Of course there is no signed Glenelg guernsey in it - that would take time as they probably don't talk to each other much
