Very scrappy game that was a tad boring to watch in all honesty.

Skills were terrible, port struggled to hit targets all day.

Umpiring was shit house for both teams but wwt had the better ride.

Magpies are now bottom and its hard to work out what port will show up...

Seems like we may have been lucky Port kicked inaccurately in the first quarter, but looking at the stats we had more of the ball.
The good thing about the last three weeks is that we seem to have been consistent in generating 6-8 scoring shots a quarter, though only 4 in the last today, perhaps due to the conditions.
Happy with the win, as I didn't think we would at Alberton.

Sumner would be right up there as one of the most improved players in the league. His run and creativity from the backlines has been sensational IMO. It was great to see almost everyone today play well today (perhaps Lane was the only disappontment). I still think we will just miss out on 5th spot but with Salter likely to come into contention in the next week or two and Toumpas to return from U18 duties, we are certainly going to give some of the top sides some headaches in the last half of the season and will play a hand in shaping the ladder.

Here they come!!!
Might be a few sides looking over their shoulders for the remainder of the season

We can afford to lose 3 games and end up with a 10-10 record which would probably get us in. It's about beating sides we should beat now. I think if we make the Elimination Final, we can probably win through at least to the Prelim if we play at our best.

After doing stuff all for the Maggies last week it was great to see John Butcher at the Bay with Daniel Healy and Chris Gowans watching the Dogs victory!

You're talking about the over reaction to the One Port merger right?
