Just to show how close things are this year, big "if"s, but reverse the scores of the Eagles Bays game when we kicked so badly in the first and last quarters and probably gave up half Glenelg's goals to them in the last few minutes of the second and last quarters, and we;d now be sitting fourth

Really close season, North could nearly be bottom by the time of their next game

Sturt's large percentage gap over the eagles basically gives them an additional win over us. Those huge losses early on will cost us.

I just had a look at our ladder position and thought - bewdy we're a chance to make the 5.
Hmm, but next six weeks are;
Norwood (1st)
West (3rd)
Centrals (2nd)
Eagles (8th)
South (7th)
Norwood (1st)
Tough in anyone's language.
Then we've got Centrals and Eagles again before the end of the season.

I saw you guys yesterday Jim, and you were less than flattering although conditions and your will to win (or West's inability to seal the deal) means it could be a good game next week. Ultimately, we have to win 2 of the next 3 games to give us a chance to make the 5.

Eagles have Central at Elizabeth, South then Norwood at home and then Sturt at Unley before a double bye. Would need to win 3 of the next 4 IMO to keep the season alive. Results went our way this round.

Do Norwood get any credit for "time in front" from yesterdays game? I didn't watch the whole game, but believe that the only time they lead was after the siren.

That percentage is only calculated in minute blocks so they received nothing despite winning. Yesterday's figures were...
Time in Front
Level 1m
West 101m
Norwood 0m
Game Time 102m
Overall Norwood's percentage of 75% derives from a season total 921 minutes in front (avg. 84m/112m per match). Centrals is next best with 854 minutes then it's daylight after that.

Interesting Hardy is only 3 goals behind the leader for the Ken Farmer. Out of most of those names in the top lot i would say Hardy has spent the least amount of time inside the forward 50.

It's amazing Sturt are knocking on the 5 considering they don't have players that figure in the handballs, kicks, mark, tackles etc
