Round 15 - West v Sturt @ City Mazda Stadium (Sat 7/7)

The Bloods have had a reasobale season so far and bounced back from their after the siren loss a couple of weeks ago to account for the Maggies, on the road, last week. The Double Blues have been playing some good footy of late, beating the Dogs on home soil a few weeks back, knocking off North the week before and then pipped at the last post by the Redlegs last weekend. Both sides will be keen to get the win and it should be an interesting contest.

Broadcast Details - 1197am 5RPH from 1:30pm

Massive game for the Bloods. Win and they are almost certain to play finals as they will be 3 games clear from 6th place. Should get Hartlett and Green back.

My tip, Westies by 27 points.

Sturt need to win if they want to avoid the spoon...

... no one expects to beat Norwood or Centrals, its the games against Port, South, West, North etc that we have to win. Beating Central was outstanding, but dropping the South game two weeks later after the bye made it pointless. They've now had two good games in a row against North and Norwood, they must beat West to show they've improved.

I think its a 50-50 game, but so much relies on the AFL players at Sturt, which I have to say, is a real shame we have to rely on another teams players to be ultra competitive, but that being the way the system works, I hope they play and play well. I'm hopeful that Sturt will win, but I think we might have one of our inconsistent moments.

West by 21-30.

Cant see it, Sturt would have to be held to under 5 goals for that to happen as its a fairly sure bet West wont kick more than 10

Thanks for that, without your superior knowledge I would never have known that ;)

I was more thinking a tall for a tall or forward for a forward

Looks like a hard slog coming up against the Bloods, I think this pretty much describes our season, being a hopefully middling side at risk of falling to bottom.
Come on Blues! Guts it out, a win is possible here!
