The Double Blues loss to the Dogs officially knocks them out of the final race while the Eagles are still in the hunt for fifth spot despite going down to the Redlegs. Will Sturt ruin the run at finals for the Reigning Premiers or will the Eagles hang on and keep their faint finals hopes flickering?

The loss of Kane through suspension will hurt as he's been in great form recently. Having said that can be covered . At the end of the day our best will be good enough to beat Sturt, simple as that and will see us remain in the hunt for the all important 5th spot.

Eagles likely to lose Jarrad Redden to port power as Lobbe has hamstring problems. If this happens I believe Redden can't play for the Eagles against Westies the week after although he is qualified to play SANFL finals.
Culley must be relegated to the reserves and Aaron Day promoted. Would look at Nick Joyce, Cameron E-Yolman, Angus Poole or Tim Sumner to replace Kane. If a tall is required to replace Redden I would bring in Zac Fitzgerald and ruck Grieger and Grocke.

Thompson only listed as an emergency for the Crows. I would expect him to still play with the Eags.

Eagles must win by 5 goals or more to be in the 5 for the first time this season (by percentage over Glenelg).
If the Eagles are at all serious, they need to smash Sturt tomorrow.

The Eagles don't deserve to make the five they have been near the bottom all year. I don't think they will and they shouldn't anyway
