Qualifying Final - Central v West @ AAMI (Sun 16/9 3:10pm)

The second game of the big double header at AAMI on Sunday...

Both sides going into this clash coming off a loss, the Bloods, having lost the last 2 in a row and flirting with form, will no doubt have a few changes to their side with the likes of Fisher, Caire, Hartlett, Beech, Fielke and Schmidt all chances to come in...

The Dogs were poor against North and will have to address a few concerning areas. Selection for Central will be interesting as well, with a few solid performers in the Reserves and the likes of Paul Marschall and Kyle Jenner due to come back in from injury...

Schmidt out for the year according to Jars today.

Could be set for a cracker of a finals series with 4th and 5th clearly able to match it with the top 3 at their best.

Have heard Schmidt would've played today if the game had meant something to us (along with about 7 others), so you'd expect him to play next week.

Well let's hope for your teams sake the last 2 weeks have been about real injuries, resting some players and not trying because you had third spot tied up but I would be really concerned if I was a West supporter given your form?

Have to be worried considering West rested a few players today and we had an almost full strength team on the park last night.
On last nights performance along with a few others I've seen this season, can't say I'm confident of getting to a GF this year.
Happy for the boys to come out and prove me wrong though 8-[

Why - you should be able to hold West to 5 or 6 goals? Hang on, they will do that themselves without Centrals even trying!

Well the good thing about this years finals is that it is as open as any year in memory although I think reality tells us it should be a Nwd vs. Central GF however Nwd is the unknown as they do have a legit claim to be underdone / under manned with a huge injury list with alot of gun players out!

I would say Norwood definitely....but any of the other 4 clubs could be there.
