Sorry if this has been covered on Snouts Louts but I couldn't get the Louts site working this arvo to confirm.
Just news I came across about a player that's coming to the Bay next year:

SA lures Clugston

WIMMERA Football League representative Ashley Clugston, 20, will concentrate on winning a premiership with Dimboola before turning his attention to the SANFL.

The wingman is set to accept an offer to join Glenelg in 2007.

He told the Mail-Times yesterday that he was `pretty keen' to test himself in a state-league competition.

"It's very likely I'll be there next year," he said.

"But we've got a premiership to win first and we want that like you wouldn't believe."

Clugston travelled to Adelaide two weeks ago after accepting an invitation from club officials to train with the team.

"It was a good experience. They're a pretty fit team," he said.

"It showed me a few things I need to improve on. Fitness is one of those aspects, I'm going to need to be a whole lot fitter if I'm going to play in a competition of that standard."

He said he was impressed with Glenelg's professionalism since the club's approach.

"A scout from Rainbow called me up and said he put a good word in for me. The club then got in touch with me," he said.

"They've told me just to focus on finals and they'll be in touch after the grand final.

"Glenelg have been really good. I'm an apprentice plumber and they've said they will help me with work and relocation to make the transition as smooth as possible."

Clugston made his representative debut with Wimmera League this season and was a notable standout in an opening match at Barooga.

He is a contender for the Toohey Medal after a consistent season with the Roos. Clugston joined Dimboola from Jeparit-Rainbow in 2004.

Glenelg Football Club manager Ken Applegarth said he was confident Clugston would be on the Tigers list next season.

"Ashley came over and had a run with the senior group and acquitted himself quite well," he said.

"We were delighted with his skill level, he is a likely type.

"We've offered Ashley an opportunity to further his football in a very good competition. It will be a nice challenge for him.

"We're confident he'll move to Adelaide after his Wimmera League commitments."

Wimmera exports Adam Fisher and Marcus Burdett play for Glenelg.

Good pick up.

Even better he is a handy bowler (quickish) missing from the Rainbow Cricket Club line-up.

Makes the mighty Nhill Blues chances of back to back flags in the West Wimmera Cricket Association a little more certain.

Good to see we are on the front foot in signings for next year.
We need to be to keep the momentum from this season. No doubt we'll lose a few to the expandedVFL(AFL)
