Same as troygfc..gen admin.. I want to be as close to the stage as possible...was right at the fornt in 93...planning a sleepout to line up I rekon. The Tiser got it wrong this morning saying that those lads that lined up for 16 hours got the 1st tickets however those of us who are members of the official site got the opportunity to buy tickets last Tuesday...I was expecting the ground gen admin to be the premium seats but it wasn't the case..be interesting to see if they break Dire Straits record of 55'000...another thing the Tiser got wrong was the amount of people at the 93 concert...It says 30K but it was 32K!!!

Not being a U2 fan I was just wondering why The Edge calls himself 'The Edge"? Sounds a bit gay to me....

They call him the Edge because Bono noticed when they first met that he was always sitting on the edge of things, opinions etc etc. Even his mother calls him Edge.

By the way how will the turf at Footy Park come up after such a huge stampede of people???

Doesn't really matter, it's not as if they don't have 6 months or so to get it right for our SANFL boys!

Yourself mate?

Bad news CP, its been declared a dry zone and the bars wont be open.

I was online trying to purchase for about 15 mins, when it finally occured to me that I would be working..(DER!). Rang the boss who gave me the bad news, but she knew I was a fan so she's rostering me on in a kiosk instead! FREE TICKET!! WOO HOO!!

FC, please tell me this is some kind of (severely) twisted pun??? Surely the Auditorium/Crows Tavern as a licensed gaming venue is legally obliged to be open??

Might have to sell my ticket otherwise :(

Honestly not sure about that one luv, I would dare say it would be open, but cant imagine thousands of people trying to cram into 1 little bar for a quickie before going to the concert. Would suggest there would be no pass out privilages like on gameday anyway, i'm assuming they will close off the members entrance...

Do you normally manage it without even touching them??

My sources tell me the Auditorium will be open, hopefully with promo's before and after the game .. err, concert .. But no passouts ... Gonna have to formulate a contingency plan!! :D
