Those radio broadcast times remind me again of how good a job 5RPH does.

Unfortunately we only have two regular broadcasters; I have noticed that the WAFL has 3 to 4, and 5RPH plugs in the gaps so well.

Due to time difference ABC radio in Perth regularly covers WAFL - In Adelaide without RPH and Life we wouldn't get anything - both stations do a great job and we at WWTFC are most grateful.

Notwithstanding injury this week v Sturt, it seems that the Eagles will have a full list to choose from come finals time. And what about Knights & Skipworth or McGregor, Biglands, Burton even? Sheesh selection dilemmas aplenty.

You wont get McGregor or Burton back, no way will the Crows let them play for you so im not sure where you get that idea from.

Hopefully Gill will be back for this Friday's clash.

Even allowing for the Crows letting them play at the Eagles anytime of the year let alone finals just how many games have Biglands/Burton/McGregor played this year for the Eagles to qualify them?

NONE.

You may want to think before getting too excited next time.

BPBRB - As long as the Crows and Eagles are in the finals there can be free interchange without Crows players playing the three mandatory minor round games.

They dont have to qualify if the Crows are still playing finals. So you may want to think before making stupid comments. Given what is in the paper today it would not be beyond the realms of possibility for Hudson to replace Biglands and for McGregor to find his way back into the Crows thru the SANFL. I never said it was likely just a possibility.  Sheesh

Yes my mistake - stupid comment I'll wear that

Stupid rule though allowing players a run in the SANFL at the exclusion of players who have played all year and especially if those AFL haven't even met the normal minimum qualification despite the rule. Also disruptive no matter how good the AFL player may be. They should just train with the AFL team and hope they can get a game. Many SANFL sides have played finals over the years but have not had their ressies in the finals to allow fringe or recovering players to get match fitness. For example this year - Centrals ressies are not finalists so where do their recovering players get a run - nowhere they just have to train as part of the squad.

I would doubt the Eagles would play any players who haven't played a game with the league side in the finals this year, even if given the opportunity. If the reserves were still playing, which is likely, I'd say those Crows players would play for them.

I really hope Skipworth is available. He is the most important Crows player to come back and has played most of the year with us. Knights is always handy and always puts in 100% when back with us, so would gladly have him back as well.

We must get Inkster right for finals, so if he is at all sore this week, give him another rest. I would not even contemplate risking him until the 2nd week of finals.

Good to see Dabrowski kick a couple of goals and named in the best players in the reserves after a long lay off with injury.
