Rumour has it he's moving to the Riverland soon.
A few clubs are already lining up to get him involved.
Has he been coaching in recent years? If so, where, and what's his record been like?

Settle down he's coaching Darwin in the NTFL this year.....

Settle down?
I'm not excited at all. Merely asking a question.

In answer to my question:
McAdam bait to lure White

NTFL premier Darwin is hoping the appointment of Gilbert McAdam as senior coach will be the spur that convinces star utility Darryl White to stay with the Buffaloes.
Three-time Brisbane premiership player White is being courted by rivals Southern Districts, who want to boost their big-man department.
But Darwin president Steven Stokes hopes the friendship and respect McAdam and White developed during five seasons as teammates at Brisbane will be a decisive factor.
``We've put something on the table for Darryl and Gilly (McAdam) played a part in that,'' Stokes said.
``Hopefully the Gilly angle can swing him back our way because I'm sure they'll get on like a house on fire working together.''
Stokes hopes another McAdam, former AFL Kangaroo Adrian, will be another key player in Darwin's defence of its senior crown.
Southern Districts president Ray McCasker said his club was still waiting on an answer from Darwin after making an official approach.

I observed Gilbert coaching Federal FC (and occasionally playing) from fairly close quarters over one or two seasons in Alice Springs recently (2003-04 or thereabouts). As a Centrals supporter from way back it pains me to say this, but unfortunately my impression was that Gilbert is a classic example of the dictum about great players not necessarily making great coaches. From memory Feds did improve somewhat with him at the helm, but this was from a very low base (i.e. 20-goal thrashing every week).
