Rnd 4 - Glenelg v Central @ Gliderol Stadium (Sat N 20/4)

The Bays just went down in the close game to the Maggies, while the Buldogs have lost their first 3 games of a new season SINCE 1990, NOT 1987 !!!

The Tigers will be sweating on the injury prognosis for Roury Kirkby and Kane Tenace and might lose a couple of players to AFL selections...

The Dogs young side took it up to Norwood last week in a scrappy game and would taken a bit of confidence out of that one...

Visitors will be a good chance to notch their first win of the season and a first in their last 7 outings...

Reserves @ 3:45pm

League @ 6:30pm

Broadcast Details - 1197am RPH Adelaide from 6:15pm

Glenelg and Centrals the game of the round? WTF?
It'd be like saying the mini league is the game of the round because it potentially might be close. :?

Must win game NO EXCUSES!!!

This week i would love to see a couple of changes. Of the brief bits i saw in the ressies Cameron Milne looked to go alright so would love to see him come in as the second ruck.

My replacement for him would be Reichert who once again had a shocker on the weekend. Hardy can fill the role at full back with Obst playing as the full forward staying deep in the forward 50 and Hewitt as the lead up forward.

Thomas Dunne looks short of gallop, no fault of his own he was brought into the leagues side to early imho so i wouldnt be surprised to see him go for a Nash, Jenner or Barmby.

The other play who maybe under the pump is Jarrod Schiller just seems to be battling a tad at the moment despite having bucket loads of talent.

For me Dogs by 23 points.

Yes, my mistake. I had 'copy/pasted' the text I'd written for the North v West game and forgot to delete it...

Edited accordingly, now...

Would have agreed after the North game but I thought Schiller played well against Norwood, especially early - took the ball at pace, stuck his tackles, delivered it well.

Agree 100% on Tom Dunne, underDunne.

True Schiller was good early!! I have probably have his end to last year and first two games stuck in my head.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing him go back to playing the hard tag role where he made a name for himself and hopefully find that touch back

Centrals by 45-60.. Massie is constantly out coached even before the ball is bounced.

A few Bays supporters had a go at me when I said they were mad for getting rid of Mickan and making Massie the coach.
We struggled big time with Glenelg under Mickan and Glenelg gained a lot of respect under Mickan but under Massie Glenelg have become easybeats IMHO.
It might get disguised a bit this year and last with lower standards amongst a few clubs but truth be known I think Glenelg are back to their ways of the early/mid 00s.
I see a few Bays fans are coming around to my way of thinking?

Can any of you Bays supporters, or anyone who lives in the Glenelg area, recommend a decent place along Jetty Road (for a cashed up bogan such as myself) to have a feed???

He'll be at the game, wont he? Looking forward to sampling one of his products, if so...
