Commentators were saying 5000.

Bad kicking is bad footy. Sounded like an awful game. Do north lose, and go up to 2nd?

North looked the better side tonight in a high pressure game. Our skills compared to the first three weeks were woeful. Just couldn't hit a target by either hand or foot. Our gameplan relies on good disposal otherwise the gameplan disintegrates and that's what happened tonight. After half time I never thought we would win. West if old would have list by over 5 goals but they kept on plugging away.

Couldn't honestly pick a best player for us.

The best team lost tonight. North had many chances to put us away but couldn't deliver the knockout blow.

Only west players that I think won the positions would be Beech, Mangain and Macreadie. Struggle after that

West deserved their win. Took their chances when they came along whereas North squandered theirs. Two weeks in a row of awful finishing in front of goal for the Roosters and this week they couldn't get away with it.

Good signs for Westies - I cant remember ever seeing a game where we had zero AFL (crow/power) players in our 21. Could be a prelude to 2014!

North were taller, quicker an v. impressive. Thought westies won the 1st quarter, drew the 2nd, were smashed in the 3rd and won the last half of the final qtr.

Cassisi was a noticeable loss to the composure and effective exit from the backline. He's welcome back any time. We missed R. Laird big time. Tuck looked short of match practice and will be better for the run.

Gordon is something special - He stands tall in every contest > Might be a Magarey medal winner there and maybe a one season SANFL player with form like his. Langford has improved since leaving the legs...

Will take the 2 points - Westies in the past would have lost that game

We should've won by 3-4 goals. Completely dominated the 2nd half. Well done to West for clawing out the win but that hurt and I hope the players feel it and learn from it as well.

from 1/4 time until 1/2 way through the last 1/4 North dominated play but bad kicking is bad footy North's forward structure broke down and as well as missing a lot of getable goals we had a lot of inside 50's with no scoring shot at all.

I don't want to bag the umpires but surely that handball from 15-20 out in the last 1/4 would have to be one of the most deliberate behinds most of us have ever seen!

Well done West, they hung on until the end and snatched a last gasp victory.
