The Magpies will be disappointed with their performance and resulting loss against the Eagles last week and will want to get back into the winners circle, especially on home soil. They face the winless Bulldogs, coming off the bye, who need to get their season going and avoid equaling their worst start to a season since 1967.

How long since the Maggies have beaten Centrals? Should start favourites against the winless Doggies.

Last match, at Alberton last year. Broke the longest winning streak by all clubs against Port Adelaide Magpies.

I was very angry that day. Got a sense that we weren't going to be in the running later in the season.

that's GOOD news, gives some up and coming PORT MAGPIES the opportunity to play league footy! Maybe Newton might get a league game!

nah more then likely we will drop some more afl players or move some more to the magpies to just beat centrals. after all can't expect port to do anything different then the league it self.

Correct. The Power dont need another tall in Butcher and Adelaide need a tall so not Johncock.
Anywho, going to miss this one as I'll be on a road trip on a little getaway but will tune into the call in the car.
Expect Centrals to break the duck this week. Our game style.....

Was he that bad an AFL footballer? How many AFL games did he play? He was no champion, but i thought he was pretty honest. He will always be up against it as the Crows took him over Pavlich.
