Norwood clearly by a fair margin the team to beat again this year for the flag and they still have some quality to comeback into their side.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Looked like a bigger crowd on t.v than the 3000 there compared to what i have seen claimed as 3000 previously at Richmond.

Agree, they remind me of when Centrals were good ;) with how if they play their best it is a gear or two better than anyone else in the comp.

The second and third side could catch em on a bad day and they are miles ahead of the rest of the comp (yes i know the Eagles smashed them but i doubt we will see them have Vince and Mitchell together again either)

Happy with the result, disappointed we didnt go on with it though. Could of made a huge statement today.
Got plenty to potentially come in over the next few weeks so a couple of guys would be looking over their shoulder after the second half effort.
Good to be back on top though and great to see Panos finally put in the game we have been waiting for

We have beaten both but I'm not sure we are at the level (yet) of Norwood. I will have to see how we go over the second half of the season and what line-up we may have by Round 23 when we next meet Norwood and leading into the finals.

All of the top 5 are more than capable on their day.

Yes the Hobbit was outcoached badly once again today, would of thought after losing 10 of his last 11 against Bass he would invest in a new game play manual

Agree that it looked quite healthy (and vocal) on TV.

Watched the first 2.5 quarters. Game was obviously won in the first 25 minutes. Legs were excellent, Bloods pressure and run was non existent, Panos carved up their defence. Sounds like Westies played some better footy after 1/2 time. Visitors had a decent run with the umps in the first half, not that this would have changed the result.

Gee Norwood beat West with one quarter of footy (and it was a great quarter) but West end up out scoring them for the other three and we I am reading crap like this. (ie EAD Collins).

Years gone by we would have just folded but at least we kept on coming, things just didn't go our way. Norwoods disposal was so much cleaner than ours and we seemed to drop a hell alot of relatively easy marks. Panos just did what he liked in the first half.

Anyone tell me what that free was for in the last quarter about 18 minutes in? Right in front of me MacCreadie in front of 17 and Ferg coming with the flight and 17 gets paid a push in the back? Bizarre decisions all day.

Well done Norwood , and the crowd was way bigger than 3000

Game was over at the 8 minute mark of the first.
Westies are miles off Norwood. Will not beat them again this year.
I have spat the dummy, but really who cares where we finish because it will always be behind Norwood!!!!

West could drop to 3rd, should North win comfortably on Monday....which they should.

Just saw this piece of play on the news and I am not sure what game the umpire was watching or he simply pointed the wrong way. Slattery goals from this and it's a two goal game with 10 minutes to play and all the momentum. Not saying we would have won but it would have made the game even more interesting

I agree the free @ that time was not a free as he almost took the mark but the non in the back free to McGuiness that should have been paid lead to your goal getting you to 19 points evened things up as far as I am concerned. Still can't wait till we start playing 4 1/4's and getting players back.

What does that say about your great coach when he gets outplayed for one quarter and still loses?

I bet the big tough guy was very quiet towards our players today.

I must admit that Norwood's first quarter was very very scary for the rest of us. Play like that and I don't think any team can match them.
