north dominated for the greater portion of the match and really shouldve won by a lot more.

some of the kids at glenelg are going to be ok, but I believe they need better direction from the coach

Looked like a pretty comprehensive victory.

Not really surprised at this result, having seen the Bays first hand last week. Where did Gordon play his footy last year? VFL?

Good crowd. In fact it was a decent w/end for crowds all round, which I guess it should have been with no amateur footy on. The league isn't as irrelevant and dead as many Crows and Port fans would like you to believe.

Yeah seem to be in control ova the 4 quarters maybe took foot off in the 3rd but great last quarter. Josh has the boys playing some real good footy but I still think they handball far to much our defence under meady seems sound our mids are playing out of there skins. And our forward line with big Gordon ( another 6 ) functions well. Bring on the dogs next sun. IMO campbell, Gordon, Shannon were best and osulluvan even though not a lot of possies he,s pressure acts were very good..

I was not unhappy with Glenelg's application. They had some good play, particularly in the 1st and 3rd. North's inaccuracy in the second is what kept Glenelg in the game until 3/4 time though.

Final term was just crap, and probably the best indication of the gulf between Glenelg and the top teams.

Well done Roosters.

dont think your 2nd 1/4 was too flash either letting 14 scoring shots through, thought he Bays 3rd 1/4 was very good considering they hardly touched the ball in the 2nd, showed some character in that 1/4 to fight back

Fourth week in a row North's had the biggest crowd at our games. pretty impressive when we're well down the list of crowd pullers, we attract not just a lot of home fans but opposition fans with our style of play unlike another team with red in it. :)
Mind you I'm sure Phil Herden has some stats about pet memberships and free passes at Woodville that somehow puts North to shame. ;)
Comfortable win, never looked in doubt with the Bays having a strong breeze in the 1st and 3rd quarters.
Great win by the ressies too killing the Bays by ten goals when we were 6th and they were 3rd I think.

Boys tried, won the contested footy but you don't win many games when you turn it over.

North too good

*sigh*

Pretty much what I expected..North looked well drilled, thought we were a bit of a rabble at times

Youngest Glenelg team Ive seen for years, the positive is they gave 100% effort, can cop being beaten by better teams when that happens.

North looked good, although their defence looks like their weakness.

Many will disagree but I think Massie is on the right track with the kids and has them playing for him.

More patience is required at the Bay, something we are used too...

North the last 7 goals this week after the last 6 goals last week, we're certainly running out a lot of games well.

thought our guys were great for most of the 3rd, very little reward for effort then north being a good side matched our hard work score wise in a couple of minutes in time on, inaccuracy cost both sides, them in the first and us in the 2nd half, not good enough unfortunately

You obviously didn't listen to the radio call ;)

The three of us constantly talked about the sea of red at the North West pocket and on the outer wing.

For the record North are currently ranked 3rd in home match crowds at 3,089
per game behind Norwood (5,193pg) and Glenelg (3,524pg) and ahead of Port (3,010pg)

Based on the full season figure from 2012 that is a 28% growth or 677 per game.

Over all home and away games North average 3,088 per game which is ranked 4th

For the record the Eagles do not have a pet memership. (You need to look North or East of Prospect not West).

We do have a free introduction membership for kids up to the age of 13. It is a key part of the strategy to develop and grow a strong supporter base for the future.

If North don't need to do this you are a very lucky club.

I look forward to the Red Army coming to Woodville in a couple of weeks and ensuring July 7th game has the highest crowd of the round. ;)

I listened to the last 20 minutes as I had to take my son to footy training and all I kept hearing was Snouts Louts this, Snouts Louts that or talk of the Yiros Van. I'll trust your synopsis of the rest of the game though. Keep up the good work mate, it was a nice surprise to hear you, Big Phil and John calling the game as a few other commentators at 5RPH I flatly refuse to listen to but love you guys. :D

Just got a call from OTR and the Glenelg Footy Club has been evacuated because of a fire, fire trucks there and all, I swear Punky wasn't there today too!
When OTR first rung he said he'd been kicked out of the Glenelg Football Club and my first impression was to say "Uh oh, what have you done now?" LOL

Just repeated the above to the missus, and her instant response was "I hope it was in the kitchen"

(She's not a fan of the home match day menu)
