Rnd 11: North v Central @ Prospect Oval (Sun 16/6)

Postby Big Phil » Wed Jun 12, 2013 8:08 am

The Roosters could be considered the form team of the competition at the moment, coming off a strong win against the Tigers, while the Bulldogs will be coming off the bye and a solid win against the Eagles the week before.

Should be a cracker of a game and hopefully with a big crowd that it deserves.

x2 Cant Wait

Realisitcally i just want to see some improvement from a game against the Cocks earlier in the year. Im not getting to carried away and still believe we are a bit behind the top3 sides.

Potentially Central will not have Henderson, Callinan or Colqhourn from the side that played the Eagles. Obst is a definate out but might be replaced by Collier.

If Collier does come back i would like to see him play as a forward, the back 6 are really starting to click together and would be wary about disrupting them.

My Central side this week presuming we lose the AFL boys

F: S.Milne Templeton J.Schiller
HF: Dunne Collier Jenner
C: O'Hara Goodrem Symes
HB: Thomas Reichert Nash
B: Waldhutter Hardy Prior

R: Guilhaus Williams Boyd

INT: C.Milne Glenn Potter/Dutschke/Habel

I don't think Potter has shown enough in the 2's as yet to earn his League debut. I would bring in Dutschke for his hardness at the pill and Habel for his leg speed...

Like The Eagles game, the only way We will win this is if We are first to the ball & if We're not, We must lay at least 50 tackles, slow the game down, hopefully some rain.

Agree the more rain there is the more chance the Dogs have.

In saying that though if we are to do anything this year we need to be able to perform in perfect conditions as well as thats what pretty standard for finals time.

Dogs are on a 4 game winning streak, would they not be the form team of the comp ATM?

Look at their opposition in those 4 wins, though?

Yes, the Eagles win was a good one no doubt, but look how they went last week and the others were against sides below them on the ladder...

If I had to pick a side as the form team of the comp right now, I'd say it's a line ball choice between the Roosters and Redlegs...

Didnt North only just lose to Port?
