South have lost 6 home games this year.
Just too good after half time.

Read that Eddy and Stribling played reserves. Murphy and Daniel have been demoted earlier in the year. Even after losing Ainger to Eagles I still felt South's asset was their senior players such as the four above plus Cross, Liddle, Wundke etc. I thought their best 10 were as good as anyone's in the comp. Just has not worked there this year. Ronnie on the right track or has he lost the players? Or both?

Fuller needs to do the right thing, walk away and forfeit his contract. It was a ludicrous deal that he pressured them into.

The conduct and language from the South Cheer squad {5 supposedly Adults and 1 teenager} on the outer was nothing short of disgusting and an embarrassment to the South club. After they were watched by officials of the SANFL they started to behave. The South club would be well advised to clamp down on it.

1 goal 4 points after half time, not good enough in any standard of football and we keep asking ourselves why?

Today we saw nothing that would give any South supporter any hope of making anything from here till the end of the season. To go in at half time with both teams even on 3 goals a piece and a terrible display of footy, all either supporter could hope for was for their team to improve and scrape over the line.

The Eagles did just that, they started to find targets, hold marks, win the ball from the packs, then lift their heads to find team mates out by them selves thus sending the ball towards the goal square, where they outplayed South every time.

Today South's ball handling skills were not on display, the short passing was woeful, kicking out of defence lacked any sort of direction, many time going straight to an opponent, our tackling was good but never had enough around the ball to take advantage when the ball came loose, I could go on and on, to sum it up South do not have 30% of a good side to put on the field each week to put pressure on the other 8 teams, the rest of them are only seconds standard, and till that 70% lift their own standards, our next win will not be this season.

No being funny or smart but surely Fuller had some KPI's to aim at each year???

We just seem to be sitting around and accepting losses. No show of emotion by players or coaching staff !

Stribling and Eddy dropped before the game....reason why anyone??

One positive was it was great to see Caleb Daniel a 16 year old set the standard and show up a heap of senior players who seemed to not really give a stuff today!!

Well done Caleb and you have a great future ahead of you mate :)

Agree with Prowling Panther....we wont win another game from here and it was embarrassing to present that BRAND of SANFL Football being televised around the country. Bloody awful to watch that!!!

Oh well, at least it was a few passionate supporters unlike your lot a few years ago where one of your players was drinking in the outer used fowl langauge, started a fight and was escorted from the ground. ;)

That bit of play where he went back and spoiled the mark, tackled Powell and then got up and tackled Giuffreda not long after returning to the ground was sensational. Should be shown on tape to all the players as an example of what is required.

Eagles got the job done as required. Not a good game and not convincing, but you'd take a 39 point win away every time. Hopefully some players to return from injury after the bye.

Thank goodness the Eags showed more intensity and effort this week. First half was an arm wrestle in tough conditions (ground was quite sloppy and squelchy). Second half saw the Eagles play smarter footy kicking longer to space and linking together passages of play with better skills. Impressed with Summerton's first game, hope he continues to develop.
Thought Borholm battled manfully against physically superior opposition.
