If Crows and Power were in the SANFL League comp?

Lets keep the discussion on the other thread but lets see what cross section of footy fans would do via this poll, Inspired by a similar one from Snouts.

Continue to support my club, for it's the club I love, as I do now. Regardless of who the opponent is.

Yours would be more difficult Booney as it depends on what model and what team represents "Port" in the SANFL"

For me , my club wouldnt change so i would still go most weeks, though I would have the shits on about having the AFL teams in the comp.

The end as far as I am concerned.

The only option I see that will work to a degree (once they decide the top up player issue) is having the AFL Reserves play in the Reserves Comp, the Magpies go and we have an 8 team LEAGUE comp. Anything else and I am out.

8 team league and 10 team reserves? And you dont want a compromised competition.

thats less compromised than having a ten team league and 8 team reserves IMHO

edit: for mine, i am not going to make any "absolute" claims re my attendance after the possible inclusion of AFL sides, however, as it stands i believe that i will no longer have a great interest in North Adelaide. ill no longer renew my membership, and i certainly dont expect ill attend any afl reserves games. (i could however be convinced to attend norths first game against each reserves side, but only in protest and only if the black plastic was also in attendance)

my outlook may change as more info comes to light, but i doubt it. SANFL is not a feeder league for the afl. it is a league in its own right. it has existed longer than the afl. why doesnt the AFL actually listen to the sanfl and try to help it for a change? they seriously cant consider us competitors anymore. is there any other sport in the world that has a "premier" league that seems to actively try to compromise the "lesser" leagues of the same sport?

I wouldn't attend a game with the Crows or Power playing. Whether I continue to support Centrals will depend on their stance. If they sell out without a fight, it will be the end for me I think. Easy to say but I'm sure it will be hard to do!

If the Eagles were "sold out", I'm not sure what I'd do.
I doubt I'd support them and go to games, but I'd like to do something for them to know that I would renew my interest if the arrangement fell through within a few years. As a neutral I'd probably still go to the odd game of interest and GF, but doubt I'd make the effort to go to all the finals.

If it was another team or Crows on their own in the League, whoever it was against I'd go to the first game, watch the ressies, then sit outside the gate during the "league" game.

It has made me raise a brow to how flippant some people have been when commenting on their intent to simply walk away. If they choose to then it's up to them, but I dont know it would be as easy to do as it is to type it out.

Correct and I really don't know if I'd be able to go through with it. But if this goes ahead I don't want my club to think that what they have done is OK.

I'd support the players / people who volunteer their time / coaches / employed staff who didn't get a say etc.

If the Board / CEO / Pres voted yes, my support as a member would be withdrawn, my disgust at the powers in charge be made known.

I'd still attend games, as the players deserve our support (besides I don't pay to get in  ).

It's not their fault if the powers to be decide to do something completely moronic like allow the Crows / Port into the SANFL.
