Really disappointing. I thought we were the better team on the day by a bit.
Missed so many easy shots, 1.6 last qtr - enough said .

Bad luck Tiges. Probably deserved to win that one. In the end bad kicking is bad footy I suppose. Thought we were gone when Glenelg got 10 points up.

Bays dominated clearances and inside 50s I'd imagine?
Port pretty much stole it on the back of better kicking at goal when it mattered.

Can anyone enlighten us to what happened in the Rserves re a Port player getting KO'd?
I also read Brett Ebert has done his hammy quite badly in the two's after a very long lay off. Bad luck for him and that may signal the end of his AFL days, can see him being delisted.

Was a very good game for mine; both teams putting in a 4 quarter performance and it was close all day. Can't speak for Port, but Glenelg's effort was certainly much better than some recent efforts. Put the loss down to bad luck; I can't fault the Bays' effort today.
That little 57 from Port continues to impress me...

Must agree that in general our effort was far better today, but a few soft efforts when the game was there to be won in the last quarter, and with the wind behind our back...so not happy...but was a improvement... oh well back to the scotch

Get them off the Scotch and back onto the training track.

Not bad luck, bad kicking. 1-6 in the last qtr

and IIRC Port kicked 0.4 going to the same end (while having most of the play) in the third quarter.
When both teams are handling the breeze comparably poorly, I'd say luck had some role in the outcome.

Port player line the Bays player up to bump to create space for team mate and came off 2nd best.

Umpires then lost control/ any idea.
Stretcher was called for, umpires allowed shot to be taken for goal - a long way from incident, so not too catastrophic. But then when ball went back to centre, to try and stop fights, went to get game started again - while stretcher still on ground and about 30 blokes in the centre square. Just very odd.
The young female Glenelg trainer (who was also in the square) seemed to have to explain the rule to the umpire.

They'll be umpiring league in no time then, based on the crap served up yesterday by the clowns in the middle.
