Rnd 18: Central v North @ Elizabeth (Sat 3/8)

Both sides have had comfortable wins against each other this year with North's win coming at Elizabeth and the Dogs win coming at Prospect.
North have one of the best records going around on the big ground and as its a Saturday I'm tipping the chooks.
Johnston will probably be an out but Stewart will take his spot.

Cocks by 5-6 goals, Dogs lacking firepower, cant see where the goals will come from to be competitive

Roosters.
They are far too superior this year.
But they have to come to play.
I think they are pushing for top spot.

Was it the premiership ladder that gave it away?

Not according to the ABC telecast last Saturday. They announced to all and sundry that Norwood had sewn up top spot and might even contemplate resting players given that they couldn't lose top spot. They must have a different premiership ladder to everyone else.

Better we finish second anyway given we have a bye in Round 22 - we can beat Nwd but stay second so we don't have a possible scenario of finishing minor premier with a potential draw of: bye, game, week off, 2nd semi, week off then GF if we were in that position and assuming we win!

I'd still be very happy with top spot.

OTR that scenario happened to Norwood last year and it helped not hindered.
Last chance to make your mark Dogs .... I'm tipping an upset. Centrals in a thriller.

Geez, young Schahinger very unlucky, has been great holding down the 1st ruck by himself the last two weeks.
Unfortunately just a victim of needing a bit more versatility with Westhoff and Stewart able to spend time in ruck.
Good luck to Matty Westhoff in his first league game ironically at Elizabeth!

Hate to burst the bubble but Westhoff will be one to drop out, anyones guess to the other but it may be Anderson to give him a decent run in the two's after missing almost 6 matches.
