So on the day that applications are due for our next senior coach we have the person they were applying to resign? Hardly gives the applicants a great first taste of our club. Who takes charge of this process now? It surely can't be someone on the way out the door. Coincides with South announcing a pretty impressive panel to pick their next coach. It's a really poor look.

Serious question is Mark Mickan still interested in coaching at SANFL level and wasn't he involved at West Adelaide until recently?

Would he be an option for the Bloods?

Left early season. Not sure if I would want him to coach West.

Could be a good fit for the Panthers too.

Not directly.

He left because we couldn't afford to pay him what he was worth for the job he was being asked to do.

No issue between the two of them just that Collins was taking a fair portion of the small pot of money available for the football side of things.

Would like to see Jarman coach this side. Be great to watch, with such a talented list, but doubt it will happen.

I would be happy to have a former Westies lad back at the club. Has some good experience behind him

Isn't that why Collins has left? New coach will be only part time?
