Sad news, a nice bloke as well, I did have the pleasure of meeting Bob a couple of times with my brother in law.

Would have to be described as a pioneer for Centrals. At least he got to see his dynasty.

One of the truely great men of footy, I used to talk to him about footy when I was a kid. Always had time for me.

You know your club is becoming well established when your pioneering legends start leaving us. Merv Starkey, Bob Zerella, Norm Russell, Stewie Banks, all good blokes and FANTASTIC clubmen.
