Does anyone know if he'll be eligible to play for the Eagles reserves side next week?
Feel sorry for the poor bloody ressies player that has to line up on him if he does.

If McGregor is eligible Skipworth and Knights probably would be as well. I'm not sure how it works though.

That was McGregors' first game for the Eagles since Round 8 2002. That was that awful day at Noarlunga where I've never felt colder during a day match, ever.

It was his 37th SANFL match.

This weekend was clear as Crows playing and WWTFC playing and thus the interchange rule works. Next week as Crows not playing nor do WWTFC League unsure as to what rule is re Kenny. Great to have Ken back at presentations tonight and to see him belt out the Eagles song after the game.

Colin, your club has been screwed the worst of all SA clubs the last few years.
The sanfl/afl juggling act may have cost your club a couple of flags.
I have no animousity towards Kenny playing, your club deserves a player
or two back for all the ones you have supplied in recent years to the AFL.

Once a players AFL team are out and that player has played less than 3 games during the minor round that player can't play in SANFL Finals.

If Mcgregor plays in the 2's this week and the league in the second semi and the crows lose the prelim is he eligable for the prelim and gf? Because by that stage he will have played 3

Thanks Mal
Isn't easy situation for anyone - the AFL clubs the SANFL clubs nor the players
As Ken is an Eagle from juniors to seniors then to Crows was terrific to have him playing today not just back at club spectating as he often does with the Eagle/Crows boys.

As to next week I dont know the rules given our reserves playing but not the league team.

CD, like I said your club deserves all the breaks after being raped by the AFL.

Imagine if BURTON, SKIPWORTH, KNIGHTS, MCGREGOR all played in the
reserves this week, if allowed to.
But you cant have WELSH !!!!!! though.

WA owed you his game for WWT this year.
CD remember when an unnamed WELSH played in a sanfl final
for WA V EG a few years back when Doug Thomas found a loop hole of sorts.

By car !

Listening to the call he kicked a couple of sausage rolls but the
commentators said he needed the run.

He was in the forward line to start with, along with Passador and Grocke. They were all swamped by 3 or 4 extra Sturt players in the first quarter when the ball came down there, McGregor was double teamed each time, but he did take a mark, played on and kicked one from 40. McGregor had trouble with the sun in his eyes a couple of times in that quarter. His other goal came as the recipient of a downfield free kick in the 2nd.

He got more of the ball and looked better in the last half at Centre Half Back, carried the ball a few times and kicked well.

Vince didn't get too much of the ball, but he went ok for what he did.

Dont give any sympathy to the Eagles, they have BENEFITED more than anyone as many of their players get drafted locally not interstate...if the above players, plus many more, were at 14 other AFL clubs they wouldnt be anywhere near as strong as they have been this year and the last few...

Don't know about that Dutchy

Last few years had Skipworth Knights ,Watts, rest of the boys have been with the crows/power

This year skipworth, vince and shattock, knights (through mini draft) with all in and out throughout the year except shattock.

Noticed yesterday McGregor starting in Forward line with Grocke and Pas we looked too tall.

Jelled better when McGregor went into the backlines

Would expect Kenny to line-up in the ressies. The Crows will want him to get match fitness before the Prelim.....
