Nick Liddle Wins Knuckey Cup

Postby Panther Pack » Fri Sep 27, 2013 10:42 am

Nick Liddle has won his 3rd Knuckey Cup (South's B&F).

Absolute Champion player!!!!!!

Joel Cross 2nd
Kyle Hartigan 3rd

These results highlight how important both Liddle and Cross are to South and we MUST re-sign them for next season!!!!!

Have heard that a couple of other SANFL clubs are pushing pretty hard to poach Mr Liddle from Noarlunga...

Have a feeling the appointment of South's next coach is going to be crucial to keeping Liddle, Cross, Wundke ect.

Phil would you like to reveal which club has enquired about Lids?

All clubs are talking to all other clubs players who are yet to sign for 2014, nothing out of the ordinary at this time of the year.

Great player, well deserved. =D>

Need to replace Hartigan at CHB as a matter of priority.

Would be interested in seeing what the top 10 in the count looked like.

Superb and deserving effort by Liddle. Had an absolutely outstanding year and one of our shining lights yet again.

Didn't realised until I pulled his career stats up but he hasn't missed a game since his debut in Round 1, 2010.

He's steadily picked up more of the ball each year.

Averages:
2010: 20 games, 21.9 disposals, 3.3 clearances
2011: 22 games, 22.7 disposals, 3.5 clearances
2012: 20 games, 24.8 disposals, 6.7 clearances
2013: 20 games, 25.0 disposals, 4.3 clearances
Career: 82 games, 23.6 disposals, 4.8 clearances

Who is likely to be the coach at South?

Surely Dan Moriarty in with a chance.

Great stats. When we recruited him, I am sure we had it in mind that he would compliment the midfield with James Boyd. Now that Centrals have sacked Boyd, would we have him back? I'm thinking no.

Maybe a straight swap - Liddle to Central, Boyd back to South? ;)
