Team of the Year

Postby sus » Tue Sep 12, 2006 2:48 pm

Have a go at picking the team of the year. Its quite a challenge. The difficulty of course is not everyone sees all the teams every week. I'll take advice on non-Eagles players Ive chosen that their own supporters dont think deserve a spot or dont think are placed properly.

FF: Passador, Chambers, Slade
HF: Ladhams, Gill, Inkster
C: Archard, Gowans, McConnell
HB: Cicolella, Baird, Campbell
B: Ivens, Zorzi, McKenzie

R: Lindsay, Haynes, Clayton

Int: From Parry, Ahchee, Kenna, Backwell

Good question! Leave it to the doggies fans as to who's had the better season.

The bays fans I know criticise Mconnel for pace. I wouldnt have him on a wing. I would say Ryswick will finish top 12 in the medal and should get a wing in the team of the year.

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

Chris Gowans. No room for O'Sullivan? Will probably win Best & Fairest, in his first year as well!

F: Passador Chambers Kenna
HF: Inskster Gill O'Sullivan
C: Gallagher Clayton Backwell
HB: Ivens Bennett Jackman
B: McIntyre Zorzi Wilson

1R: Lindsay Haynes Archard

I/C (from): Parrie Younie Howard Cicolella Bamford Ryswyk Slade B.Campbell Lahdams

Ive got so many bloody onballers in my side I had to make a very very extended bench as there's so much class this year on the ball.

Isn't he AFL listed?
I left AFL listed players out.
If he isn't he was definately my first thought for full back so swap him with Zorzi.

Would play Passador at FF not from a pocket, The ken Farmer medallist deserves to be named at FF. Would play cica on the ball not across half back. What about Grocke thought he could get a gig.

There is no way in the world that McIntyre is a better selection/footballer than McKenzie. One word pretty much sums up McKenzie's performances week in and week out - impassable.
