Realistically i think a top three is out of the question, if we play finals it would be a big tick for all those involved at the club, coming from a long way back. Can only see one spot left in the finals from last year and that's not counting the new teams coming in, who knows how good they will be.

We're expecting big things from this young new recruit named Clint.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes as he looked past it for North in 2012. A year off would want to freshen him up and make him more agile to have an influence. I hope he does well (bit can't see it), unlike a peanut like Lucas Herbert, Clint certainly wont be on the end of my wrath at the footy.

Not sure I follow you Wedgie.
Didn't Clint speak to North first and was told no thanks and always gave his all for the Red & White .
Why would he be on the end of your wrath?

He won't mate, left out a crucial word ("won't") but have done a Big Phil and fixed it

Mind you having said that, after a few beers at Glenelg Oval anything that moves (or doesn't after being smashed) is fair game.

A lot of ground to make up but if you will ever jump up the ladder this year is the year . I hope the supporters get behind their team as they need support. A change of coach can take time but this supporter base are not that patient.

On paper their recruits look very strong. Many sound AFL players have come to this comp and not torn it up. Tenace is probably a good example. Very interesting to see if they have the impact assumed by many. In my view that will define their season.

Kirkby will only play the first few games of the season, getting Alleway now makes some sense
