Seriously?
For starters I reckon South and Sturt have differing opinions on that not to mention numerous Anzac Day games finals and prelims

For a period South and Sturt played home games there, for a period finals were played there and ANZAC Day games.

Anyone who has stumbled across some common sense knows Rucci is referring to the fact there is now football in the city every weekend for the first time in a long, long time.

really? we are all supposed to be psychic and add the words he mysteriously left out (presumably left out, as i said, i havent seen the article)

and even back in the day, was there footy at adelaide oval every week? serious question. I would have thought that, like footy park, it would have been the odd game there but the majority would be at sides home grounds. was there really games in adelaide every week before the saca/sanfl split and creation of footy park? happy to be corrected.

Games at both AO and FP every week during most eras until the mid-90s.

A public slap down for Buddha, all coated in generous amounts of bulldust and spin. I doubt Hocking will be popping his head up much now, in case he states the bleeding obvious again. At least Buddha has Keith to keep him on the straight and narrow, can't get off message now.

What a fu€kwit.

Smart governance though, most Port fans will lap up success at any level and believe every word they're told by KT and DK. They won't believe or acknowledge any advantages they've had if they're successful.

Surely there comes a time when even Port supporters can see he is full of shit though. How dumb does KT think his supporters are? I'm not sure there is much "smart" involved in that little excerpt. Surely most know, acknowledge and accept what has happened and that is exactly what Hocking said in the article. Of course, this can all be stomached as long as the main team you go for isn't effected and even more ok when it benefits the main team you go for.

Why does he have to be trying to fool anyone? Can't he just say it as it is?

What has Thomas had to say recently about the teams he has had a hand in destroying as part of this AFL push, as in the Port Magpies u18 side for one?

Yes, please have him say it as it is. We all want our clubs and the SANFL to come out and say it as it is.

At least Budha Hocking is a honest man calls a spade a spade. KT is in preservation mode as that type of comment by budha is attracting some unwanted attention.

Ask Westies this year

On thin ice, WTF does that mean?

I think there are very few differences between ovals and using it as a reason for losing is bollocks.

I'm not your pal. And who said anything about using it as an excuse for losing.
The discussion was whether home teams have an advantage.

I think they do. The SANFL think they do. I'd guess most others think they do.

You don't.

By saying the home side has an advantage you've already got an excuse in your mind, that's my opinion and I'll stick to it.

Don't see what all the commotion is here. I think it's a pretty well excepted fact that teams win at home slightly more than they do away. Sometimes this is an excuse, but it's still a fact.

Booney, would you prefer the Power to play their final at home or away?

Great thinking! It would be great to play every game at Adelaide Oval instead!
