Went back into our shell, once we 'raised the bat' for the ton, but now we are increasing the 'strike rate'.
Good work fellas :D

Booney, your trolling is adding pace to the run rate ;)

You guys are really scraping the bottom of the barrel now...

And home ground advantage would typically be due to crows support more than anything else (assuming ground dimensions are similar)

I am sure the run rate will increase to T20 level if the Magpies win the premiership!

KT should be investigated for ball tampering. He's surely got his hands on it!

KTs just aiming at the lowest common denominator, he's selling to the morons who still think the Power have some sort of connection to the successful previous PAFC. Like shooting fish in a barrell but good on him as he gets paid for it, easy money.

I think they do. The SANFL think they do. I'd guess most others think they do.
You don't.
Play on champ

Easy,,,easy...

By saying the home side has an advantage you've already got an excuse in your mind, that's my opinion and I'll stick to it.

Thanks pal! :D

You do that champ.
So I take it that you'd be happy for your AFL Reserve team to play all their games away next season in line with the Adelaide Reserves

Booney, would you prefer the Power to play their final at home or away?

Exactly.
Maybe ask Centrals if they have an advantage playing at home or Norwood.
Anyone who doesn't believe you get an advantage playing on a ground you practice on every week is deluding themselves.

What was that talk about rewarding the higher placed club with home advantage if the finals were played on suburban grounds.
Unless of course you are Port in which case it doesn't matter which ground you play on providing you have your own set of rules that give you an advantage over your opposition far greater than playing home or away.

I was going to say "So you'd be happy if the Crows were to play all their games away" but as this is never going to happen it's impossible prove.

But all grounds are different and not just in size, but shape, areas that run faster and areas that run slower. Areas affected differently by the elements and even the undulation of the ground itself. Practicing week on week will give you an advantage in knowing these things.

If you're good enough, you'll win on any piece of turf. If you're not, it isn't because it was the turfs fault.

My team has a home, the Adelaide reserves do not, moot point.

So Port Power (AFL team) has 41 of 44 Players available for selection this week - only 3 injured players, 2 of which have long term knee injuries.

If that is NOT an unfair advantage to the so called 'Magpies', then what is?

That means that essentially, the ENTIRE team (on the ground) will be AFL Professional Players.
So if we talk "Integrity of the Competition", the debate is over - A Team of FULL-TIME Pros vs a Team of PART-TIME Ammos.

Integrity??? Please...

Had Adelaide Crows Reserves had a home ground this season in the SANFL it would be a fair assumption that that would have made the finals in their inaugural SANFL season.
Home grounds in many sports with many teams increases its chances of winning
An example would be Australia v India Test matches

I'm going to bat for the AFL teams in our comp in this instance.
If they are going to be in the comp they should both have home grounds.

This 'talk' about Port Reserves to play all away games in 2015 is WRONG, in my opinion
The PR + AR players need to be taken into consideration , they are the ones out there busting their guts , they deserve home games

Crows reserves home games would probably reveal how many supporters actually follow their SANFL side. It wouldn't be pretty, I wouldn't think.

Would the Crows actually want the expense of Adelaide Oval as their SANFL home ground and having to host those games?

Should the Adelaide Reserves share an oval with another SANFL club ?
Elizabeth /Carlunga ovals might be too far , but the other grounds could possibly cater for them
