Rnd 2 - Central v Norwood @ Playford Alive Oval (Sat 12/4)

The Dogs had a bruising encounter on the weekend and will obviously be without Brad Symes this week, possibly for good...

The Redlegs showed they will still be a class act in season 2014 and will no doubt start the favourites in this one...

Reserves kick off at 9:25am (yep - that is right !!!)

League start at 12:10pm (due to TV coverage on 7)

TV coverage on Channel 7 from 12:00pm...

Has there ever been a game between these two that has not been full on ?
Redlegs in a very tough battle.

Spewing its at 12!!!

Will be my first game of footy this year

On the game Norwood by 7 goals

The dogs have lost their mongrel, they have gone soft, as a poster on the cdfc website said we have turned into a nice bunch of circle work boys.

Norwood will be more physical, quicker and better drilled.

Anyways hope to catch up with a few blokes at the footy I haven't seen a while should be a good day

Will the dogs introduce 'the composer' this week. Looked good in the ressies last week kicking 3.

Does the Doggies Bistro have a breakfast menu?

Ridiculous time for the Ressies to start taking into account the time the players have to arrive and prepare for the game and for the trainers who need to arrive 1 hour before the players. There are some Norwood trainer who live in the Southern suburb so it will an even earlier time they will have to leave to arrive to prepare the Ressie players. Plus all the staff at the Doggies club and SANFL officials (who have to drive from all over the metro area) who have to be at the ground at such a god-awful time prior to the ressies game.

Why can't the Ressies play after the League?

Another reason why the Ressies should play after the League is because the amount of rain expected in the days leading up to the match, if the ressies play before the league the ground will be in such a poor condition (understandable taking into account the rain situation) for the League match. Surely the best ground condition should left for the league game.

PLAY THE RESSIES IN THE AFTERNOON AT 3.30PM.

The ground is in pristine condition so no need to worry. What about every other week when the reserves play first.

There is a champagne breakfast in place of the usual President's lunch. It is $50 a head and includes the player Calcutta.

The bistro however will not be serving breakfast.

And the club due to no fault of their own will lose around $150-$200 from me and my 3 mates who would normally have a meal, a couple of beers and a few bets in the clubrooms.
