ex-dog Marschall signs with Crows

Very unfortunate as this kid showed serious talent the times I saw him play. It would have been great to see him develop with the dogs.

I don't blame him for non-committal to the dogs due to inability to train full time. But surely if the crows accept him based on modified training then they are not taking the rigours of SANFL seriously and are viewing it more as developmental rather than playing to win???

Shows why the Crows are near bottom now and for the last few years.
They sign someone who can not even show some commitment to play SANFL at the expense of hundreds of kids who would give their left testicle have have such an opportunity.
Total and utter BS by a club who has no idea and will slide further and further down the ladder.

Yeah but you know the crows will spin it to make it sound like they are a good citizen ensuring talent doesn't go to waste.

It still irritates me that they'd offer a match to someone who will only train occasionally. It cheapens the SANFL.

Ok can someone enlighten me re this signing does anyone think that it is odd that he leaves Central 18 months ago and now he decides to play with the Crowserves.

I have read posts on this site regarding that for the Powerserves to pick up any top up player that player must of not played in the state league for you guessed its that magical number 18 months is this correct or is this just misinformation from other posters ??????

So can anyone tell me is it just a coincidence that he hasc signed with the Crowserves or was this a under the table deal hatched 18 months ago ?????? any ideas fellow SANFLERS Velly velly interesting.

When this young fellow played for Central he displayed all the attributes of a great half back player and i think he would of been picked up in the AFL draft.

18 months ago this bullshit was no where near the table. Interesting that at the time of the last article written he still hadn't fronted for training...could he have just signed to get them to leave him alone? He might have no intention of playing for them.

Popped in for a bit of the South Gawler trial game after work Saturday and overhead a couple of blokes mention that Marschall has been told he probably wont be selected often this year and he needs to have a full season at South to get his fitness back and the Crows will keep him on their list for next year.
How many games did he actually play last year, sounded like due to work he only played a couple?
Was a decent player and Central and believe he was probably going to go top 25 in draft.
Hope he does get a run at AFL but would rather see him at the Doggies than Crows.
