Round 10 - Glenelg v South @ Gliderol Stadium (Sun 15/6)

The bottom-placed Tigers, coming off another disappointing performance, host their Southern suburb rival in South Adelaide. The Panthers had a close, tight battle with the Double Blues in a game that just lost...

GLENELG v SOUTH

Gliderol Stadium, Glenelg

Sunday, June 15th 2014

Reserves @ 11:25am

League @ 2:10pm

Broadcast - Channel 7Mate from 2:00pm*

*I have heard this game will still go ahead and be the TV game, despite suggestion that it is the least appealing game of the round for TV, because the Tigers are 'owed' a TV game from when they had one changed on the them a few weeks ago, for the Port v South game to be covered, instead. I think, from a 7 perspective, this week's game and timeslot best suited them for the 'pay back' game, looking ahead at the Bays upcoming fixture.

A hard match against Sturt last week, the boys will be spewing about that loss, I feel for Glenelg this week. (pig's arse). South by 8 goals.

I will be away this week, so I hope it is still on the Tele.

The bays will keep pace with the panthers in the first 30 seconds and then sadly we will be back to normal transmission :(

I will be attending, not because I expect the Bays to win, but I kind of like the abuse I receive for turning up to every Bay game, even though I am accused of being a "Crows Reserve" supporter.

For the record, I have missed one game of Glenelgs and one of Adelaides.

That's OK you can absue me on Saturday night when i go to my first game at Adelaide oval to watch the Crows and North.

Well it's not my first game at Adelaide oval my first was in 1981 for the Bays v Sturt but I thought I'd get into this whole AFL revolution thing and that this is the first for footy in the city, anywho you know what I mean...

Do you have advice on the best Chardonay to drink at Crows games Maxy??

I won't be at Adelaide Oval until about an hour before the game starts, as I am heading out to Elizabeth first to get my daily dose of heckling.

Stick with an Unwooded Chardonnay, but to be honest, Sauv Blanc is where it's at now.

South haven't lost at the Bay since a hiding in 2010, let's hope that streak continues on Sunday.

With Rolfe a likely out I'd probably expect Rankine to come back into the side. C. Daniel, Taylor and Hourigan will be better for the run last week.

C.Daniel to get a run with the state 18's? Do they have a game this week?

Watched Glenelg the other week vs West. If Westies could kick straight it could have massacre

Assuming Caleb gets selected, which you would think he will, yes, the SA Under 18's play Vic Metro, from memory, down at AAMI from 10:30am on Saturday morning...

Will be there, but after the last couple of weeks it's hard to see Glenelg getting a win. South comfortably unfortunately, hope to be proven wrong.

South:

In: Rankine, Giddings, Seccull
Out: C. Daniel (U18s)

Rolfe named on a bench, but would be surprised if he plays. Would like to see Giddings get a game in place of either Crabb or Durdin.
