You could, but are unlikely to get one...

For whatever reason, Central control the gate at Playford Alive Oval, not the SANFL staff, and never publicly release their corwd number on game day...

I'd suspect, with an (Elizabeth) educated guess, that there was probably just 1,300 - 1,500 fans there, at most...

Disappointing crowd for what was a really enjoyble game to call on RPH...

7th - South - 5 home games -- 11,768 avg 2,354 per game

8th - West - 6 home games -- 13,076, avg 2,179 per game

9th - Central - 6 home games -- 12,877 avg 2,146 per game

But they have played the Cows twice.
Clear that no one is interested in attending matches in which they are involved

Yes crowds are down the North is economically stuffed

However have the other clubs played the Crows TWICE ??????

That is one way of looking at it.... highest crowd at Elizabeth this year was 1st crows game 3337

Of Centrals 10 games at all venues, 5 have had less than 2,000

The only 2 Dogs games to have more than 3K were against AFL reserves sides (1st Crows game & Port @ Alberton).

Their 6 home games have drawn crowds of 1,959, 3337, 1983, 1774, 2121 & now 1703 (lowest crowd of SANFL season).

Is this a sign of bad times ahead for the SANFL ??

Is it because of the Doggies lack lustre on field performances ???

Is it because of the AFL RESERVES intrusion ???

What happens in two years when Holdens close their doors ???

I personally have noticed that over the last 5 to six years even tho we have benn winning premierships there has also been a decline in suppporters back at the club rooms.

Was at the club Saturday night and after 9.00 pm maybe 20 or so patrons.

I think a lot of people in the north are doing it very tough at the moment.

I think it is a combination of our on field performance and the cost. SANFL should go back to $10 entry. We were never going to get a big crowd yesterday with the Power on TV and the Crows playing that night. The game should have been played today, however Centrals don't want home games on a Sunday because of Bingo. This is stupid. I think we would get a decent crowd on a Sunday.
